License Renewal Information

On the eLicense Website, you can find:

  • Your Post-Licensure Due Date (New Agents)

  • The Status of your License

  • How many CE Credits you have

  • Your CE Due Date

All Agents

Due every three years on your birthday.

  • 30 hours of Continuing Education (including 9 hours of Core CE - Core Law, Civil Rights, & Ethics) is due with this renewal.

  • The cost of this renewal is $182

  • If the Renewal is missed, your license will be suspended. To reactivate you must complete your 30 hours, and pay the Renewal Fee, Re-Activation Fee and Late Fee - which totals $307.

New Agents

This course is due within 1 year of the date you got licensed, and is typically offered through the school you took your real estate classes at (and is sometimes included in the price you paid for your classes).

  • There is no fee associated with this.

  • A certificate for the 20 Hour course, and a form that stating it was completed must be turned into the Ohio Division of Real Estate.

  • If the 20 Hour renewal is missed, your license will be suspended. To re-active, you must pay a $34 re-activation fee.

Due on your First Birthday after getting licensed (no matter if it's the following week or 10 months away).

  • There is no Continuing Education required with this.

  • To renew your license, fill out Page 1 of the License Renewal Form and submit the Renewal Payment of $182.

  • If the First Birthday renewal is missed, your license will be suspended. To reactivate, you must pay the Renewal Fee, Re-Activation Fee and Late Fee - which totals to $307.
